Cycling Advocates of Nipissing

CANThe Cycling Advocates of Nipissing (CAN) is an active working group under Discovery Routes Trails Organization. CAN is comprised of community members with skills and abilities to advocate for cycling in our region and is supported by and is a consolidated voice for the broader cycling community and membership. It is a member of the Ontario Cycling Advocates Network administered by Share The Road Cycling Coalition.

As of the Fall of 2014, CAN is just getting started.  If you are interested in cycling issues across Nipissing and the Province of Ontario, you can participate in a variety of ways.

Bike Winter: Coldest Day of the Year Ride 2017

February 4, 2017, 11:00am - February 4, 2017, 11:30am

Join Cycle Toronto for our annual Coldest Day of the Year Ride! People are encouraged to arrive at 11:00am. We'll kick things off with a few words at Art Eggleton Park at Harbord & Grace and depart at 11:30 am for a short, family-friendly ride along the best cycling routes Toronto has to offer. After the ride, we'll warm up at a nearby establishment near Yonge & Gerrard. Both the start and end points are subway accessible and the route map is available on our event page: Bike Share Toronto encourages winter cycling with free extra time on all trips during the Coldest Day of the Year Ride.
