Description
Marten River Provincial Park‘s Transition Trail offers a moderate hike that is five kilometers long and will take approximately two hours to complete. The trail takes you through a variety of forest types from mature pine stands to a Black Spruce bog. Enjoy remnant stands of massive pines including a 350 year old White Pine. Interpretive signs explain the ecology of the bog and identify tree and plant species along the way.

Directions
From the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head northwest. Turn right at Algonquin Avenue/HWY 11. Continue to follow the highway for about 56 km (34.8 mi) until you reach the Provincial Park.
