Route Description

This bicycle route follows the Kate Pace Way in North Bay and takes cyclists through the towns of Callander and Corbeil.  It is a popular route for local cyclists.  For a little variety, the route can also be extended to the south through to Lake Nosbonsing and the community of Astorville. 

Route Details

  • From North Bay, take the Kate Pace Way to Cranberry Road in Callander
  • Turn left on Cranberry Road, and then right on Fairway Drive
  • Keep right as Fairway Drive turns to Osprey Crescent
  • Turn left at Kilby Lane and left onto Mill Street
  • Continue onto Golf Course Road
  • Turn right at Main Street
  • Take the second left onto Landsdown Street
  • From here, the paved shoulders along Highway 94 take cyclists through the Village of Corbeil
  • Cyclists continue along highway 94 through Corbeil and across highway 17 to Centennial Crescent
  • Continue on Centennial Crescent enjoying the peaceful countryside of the southern shores of Trout Lake
  • The route then emerges onto the paved shoulders of highway 17 and back into North Bay.

Astorville Alternative

  • From North Bay, take the Kate Pace Way to Cranberry Road in Callander
  • Turn left on Cranberry Road, and then right on Fairway Drive
  • Keep right as Fairway Drive turns to Osprey Crescent
  • Turn Left at Kilby Lane and Left onto Mill Street
  • Continue onto Golf Course Road
  • Turn right at Main Street
  • Take the second left onto Landsdown Street
  • Continue onto Callander Bay Drive
  • Turn left at Lake Nosbonsing Road, and then left at Corbeil Astorville Road
  • Keep left to stay on Corbeil Astorville Road and then turn right onto highway 94
  • Cyclists continue along highway 94 through Corbeil and across highway 17 to Centennial Crescent
  • Continue on Centennial Crescent enjoying the peaceful countryside of the southern shores of Trout Lake
  • The route then emerges onto the paved shoulders of highway 17 and back into North Bay
  • Cyclists continue along highway 94 through Corbeil and across highway 17 to Centennial Crescent
  • Continue on Centennial Crescent enjoying the peaceful countryside of the southern shores of Trout Lake
  • The route then emerges onto the paved shoulders of highway 17 and back into North Bay
