West Nipissing Trails
Getting back to nature – at any time of the year – is a pleasure on the West Nipissing Trails. The Sturgeon River House Museum, located on the site of an old Hudson’s Bay trading post, is a great starting point for many of the area’s land and water trails. The Sturgeon Falls Rod and Gun Club host the West Nipissing Nordic Ski Club with over 23 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails. Rentals are available. West Nipissing also welcomes hundreds of snowmobilers to 330 km of groomed trails and open spaces. The trails link sledders up with thousands of kilometers of Trans Ontario Provincial Trails.
