Corbeil-Callander Cycling Loop

Callander, Corbeil, North Bay

Ontario Tourism

Description

This bicycle route follows the Kate Pace Way in North Bay and takes cyclists through the towns of Callander and Corbeil. It is a popular route for local cyclists. Cyclists are warned to be careful choosing a route into/ out of North Bay near the Highway 11/17 interchange. Cyclists are prohibited on the bypass. Local cycling advocates are working with the City of North Bay to open access to a public road allowance off Twin Lakes Road. For the time being, cyclists can follow Twin Lake Road to the north end where a small gate stops vehicular access to Progress Road (as mapped on Map My Ride).

For a little variety, the route can also be extended to the south through to Lake Nosbonsing and the community of Astorville. The route from North Bay to Astorville is part of the Voyageur Cycling Route.
