Burk’s Falls to Magnetawan (36Km)

For a leisurely day-trip, paddle the Magnetawan River from scenic Burk’s Falls and through the locks system between Lake Cecebe and Ahmic Lake in Magnetawan. A small boat ramp below the dam at the Welcome Centre on Hwy 520 makes a great launch site.

The Magnetawan River continues beyond Ahmic Lake offering paddlers a more challenging route.

From the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head southeast on HWY 11 until you reach Burk’s Falls about 84 km (52.2 mi) later.

The vast network of trails we celebrate exist on the traditional lands and waterways of the Anishinaabe people within the territory protected by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850 and Williams Treaties of 1923.
