Wasi Cross Country Ski Trails

Astorville

Description

Wasi Ski Club is a volunteer-run cross-country ski and snowshoe club near Astorville. The club maintains 43 km of double track set and single track set cross-country ski trails that roll through different natural habitats common to the area including wetlands and a mix of hardwood and conifers. An 8 km network of snowshoe trails gives a good variety of winter activity.  All trails are well-signed with posted maps and colour-coded trail markers. The chalet is open and heated using a wood stove, with hot chocolate and tea available. There is a bulletin board available where trail conditions and other announcements are posted, along with a thermometer and trail maps.
